FAQS

What areas do you service?

We service Mount Barker, the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, and surrounding regions. If you’re unsure whether we cover your property, just ask — we’re flexible.

Do I need to be home for the booking?

Not always. As long as animals are safely contained and clear instructions are provided, we can complete most jobs without you being present. Some services require you to be onsite.

How do I prepare my animals before you arrive?

Please ensure animals are yarded, contained, or easily accessible. This helps us complete the job safely and efficiently.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, card, bank transfer, and online payment through your invoice. Payment is due on completion unless otherwise arranged. A $70 deposit is required at the time of booking.

Can you attend emergency or urgent callouts?

Yes — we offer urgent callouts for injured, distressed, or escaped livestock. Availability depends on location and schedule.

Do you offer humane dispatch and disposal?

Yes — we provide humane dispatch and appropriate carcass removal when requested by the property owner. All work is carried out respectfully and in line with welfare guidelines.

Can you work with unhandled or difficult animals?

We can handle most livestock, including nervous or unhandled animals. Please let us know beforehand so we can bring the right equipment or create a safe plan with you to handle these animals.

What if the weather is bad on the day?

Some services can continue in light weather, but heavy rain or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling. Extreme hot weather may cause bookings to be rescheduled as well. We’ll contact you if changes are needed.

How do I get a quote?

You can request a quote through our website, by phone, or by sending an inquiry. Provide animal numbers, location, and any relevant details for the most accurate estimate.

What happens if my animals are not contained when you arrive?

If animals are not yarded or safely contained, the job may take longer or need to be rescheduled. This helps ensure safety for both the animals and our team. If you’re unsure how to prepare, we can guide you on the best setup before your booking.
